Artisan: Makers’ Market
Canterbury’s popular monthly makers’ market Artisan, has now moved from St George’s Street to a new location in Whitefriars Square.
The market offers artists and local food producers the opportunity to sell their wares directly to the public. All of the stall holders have been carefully selected to ensure that the standard of work is consistently high and reflective of the growing creative community across Kent. Each stall boasts unique handmade goods ranging from beautifully designed ceramics to carefully crafted textiles. Whitefriars will now be managing Artisan, and the next market will be taking place on the first Saturday of each month.
Whitefriars Manager Peter Scutt said: “We are really pleased to be able to welcome the Artisan market to Whitefriars. It will build on the food and craft markets that have proven so popular with shoppers and is a great complement to our many retailers and restaurants. It’s the unique offers like this that help to make Whitefriars and Canterbury such a great place to visit and shop.” For more information about the market or to enquire about taking a stall, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
