Calling all creatives!
If you are living in the Canterbury district and surrounding East Kent region, producing unique high quality craft then we need you!
Don't miss out on this opportunity to sell your craft and develop your client base - let the public know the stories behind each of your pieces - this will make it an exclusive shopping experience and bring them back wanting more!
If you have applied and been selected already for a stall at Bohemia you do not need to apply again
Artisan will be at:
Canterbury, St Georges Every 4 Saturday. 24 April, 22 May, 26 June, 24 July, 28 August, 25 September, 23 October, 27 November, 11 December
Whitstable, St Mary's Hall, Umbrella Community Centre Whitstable Oyster Festival 25 July ( venue tba),1 August, 3 October , 28 November and 5 December
Herne Bay, promenade Sunday 2 May, 4 July, Herne Bay Festival 2010 22 August and 5 September
To qualify all entries must:
Be handmade, and not imported
Show creative flair and originality
Be produced to a very high standard
Hold valid public liability insurance up to £5 million ( you can get this after selection)
Joining fee
Canterbury District Residents:
If you are a Canterbury district resident it is free for you to apply. If you get selected onto Artisan we will need to see proof of residency
Non Canterbury District residents:
If you do not reside in the Canterbury district it is free to apply . If you are selected you will pay a single fee of £10. As well as being part of Artisan you will become elligible to join the creative canterbury database to promote your business. Creative Canterbury database members get exclusive invitations to Get Juicy, a quarterly networking event.
Additional information:
We operate a selection process ( you will know whether you have been accepted within 2/3 weeks of applying)
Stalls (approx 6ft by 3ft) are set up and dismantled for you by the market manager
Priority will be given to makers/artists who meet the standard from the Canterbury District
Craft Stalls will be £30 for every market
