Following on from the successful Little Blue Hut residencies we want to invite creative practitioners to be inspired by this unique building and its collections. Situated in the centre of the historic city of Canterbury the Beaney has been meticulously renovated and transformed as part of a £14 million repair and restoration project.At the heart of this fabulous new facility is the vision to engage and inspire its visitors, promoting exploration and participation at every turn. In addition to the museums fascinating collections the building will 
provide state-of-the-art exhibition galleries, library, community spaces, explorer areas, excellent educational facilities and a varied programme of interactive events for all ages.
The Front Room Armchair residency will allow you the opportunity to spend time exploring this fantastic newly refurbished building, being inspired by the collections, the people, the place and the stories.
